Reporting of JINM Activities in the HISTAF System

INTRODUCTION

The JINM Scope HiStaf System or Industry and Community Network Smart System (ICRIS 2.0) is one (1) system developed to improve the existing ICRIS System so that UPM's Industry and Community Network (JINM) activity reporting is more structured, simple, and user friendly.

BACKGROUND

• The development of the system is based on the findings of the survey on the use of the ICRIS System in January 2021
• The ICRIS 2.0 System Development Task Force Group was established to support the development
• HiStaf System was selected as the new ‘home’ of the ICRIS 2.0 System to realize all data related to academic officers are collected under one roof
• Measurement of academic performance for SKT and ELPPT JINM TNC KPI reporting on a quarterly basis
• Measurement for the promotion of academic officers and recognition of PTJ/ Industry/ Community

 

HISTAF  FOR REPORTING INDUSTRIAL NETWORKS ACTIVITIES

Reporting for industry networks is quarterly:

• First Quarter: March
• Second Quarter: June
• Third Quarter: September
• Fourth Quarter: December

 

JINM's activity reports make full use of the UPM HiStaf System. The Database can be accessed via the following URL;

http://histaf.upm.edu.my/

To ensure that the PTJ industry network report is processed completely, PTJ is requested to implement the following actions:

1. Entry of JINM activity records by the Project Leader into the JINM Scope HiStaf System before or on 30 March, 30 June, 30 September, and 30 December;
2. Review by JINM PTJ Secretariat through ICMS System (icms.upm.edu.my) before or on 30 March, 30 June, 30 September, and 30 December;
3. Confirmation by the Head of PTJ through the ICMS System (icms.upm.edu.my) before or on 30 March, 30 June, 30 September, and 30 December.
