December 21, 2023, Serdang- Center for Industry Relations and Networks-CiRNeT and Putra International Center UPM have started the process of establishing collaboration with Negros Oriental State University Philippines, through an online discussion session on December 20, 2023. This meeting was held to review potential cooperation and collaboration between the two parties in research collaboration, faculty exchange programs, collaboration seminars and workshops.

Through this collaboration, it is hoped to benefit not only UPM and NORSU, but also contribute to academic and cultural exchange between the Philippines and Malaysia. This collaboration is also expected to form a wider and interconnected global academic community, stimulate the process of internationalization and promote diversity.
