Mini Seminar on Living Lab Golf UPM Showcases Promising Progress

3 August 2023, Serdang- A mini-seminar on UPM's Living Lab Golf was held at Uniputra Golf UPM to present the development of UPM's Living Lab Golf project to the sponsor, Dato' Seri Diraja Syed Razlan ibni Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail. A total of 5 project groups, 4 from the Faculty of Design and Architecture (FRSB) UPM and 1 from the Faculty of Agriculture UPM have presented the project status within the first 6 months.

 

This seminar aims to provide an update to sponsors on the initiatives and ongoing developments in the Living Lab Golf UPM project. The UPM Golf Living Lab project is a unique concept that aims to transform Uniputra Golf UPM into a learning and teaching center at UPM, where real-life experiments and innovative approaches are implemented to improve golf course management and sustainability.

 

Throughout the seminar, each project group highlighted their achievements, challenges faced, and potential opportunities for further development. The presentations received a positive response from the sponsors, who recognized the potential of several projects to obtain funding to transform Uniputra Golf UPM into an excellent learning and teaching center within the university.

 

UPM's Living Lab Golf project is a testament to UPM's commitment to exploring innovative solutions for sustainable development and creating practical learning experiences for students and researchers. The seminar became an important platform for the exchange of ideas and feedback, which further strengthened the collaboration between UPM and project sponsors in achieving a shared vision for a greener and more progressive campus environment.
