12 Oct 2023, Puchong- Centre for Industrial Relations and Networks (CiRNeT) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) proudly hosted the "Dashboard Data Hubungan Industri - Universiti Awam" workshop from October 9 to 11, 2023, in Puchong, Selangor. The esteemed event was inaugurated by Bhg. Dato' Mohd Shahril Abdullah, Director of the Industry Division, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.

The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from 16 directors and representatives of public university industry networks. The primary objective of this initiative was to advance industrial relations within public universities by effectively utilizing technology and data analytics.

CiRNeT UPM, in its role as the organizer, played a vital part in ensuring the success of the workshop, facilitating a platform for fruitful discussions and knowledge sharing among the participants. The event delved into various aspects of leveraging data dashboards to enhance collaboration, promote strategic partnerships, and drive innovation.

Participants explored the potential of data-driven decision-making in strengthening the bond between academia and industry, aligning with the nation's objective of fostering a dynamic and innovative industrial landscape.

The collaborative efforts of all stakeholders were instrumental in the success of this workshop. Their dedication and contributions are acknowledged and appreciated, paving the way for a more connected and mutually beneficial relationship between public universities and industries.
