June 28, 2024, Kuala Lumpur - Centre for Industry Relations and Networks-CiRNeT Universiti Putra Malaysia held a meet and greet with AMCHAM Malaysia ( American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce in Kuala Lumpur. AMCHAM was represented by Mrs. Siobhan Das Bachran (贝诗凡), the Executive Director of AMCHAM Malaysia, along with her officers. CIRNET was represented by Prof Dr. Shamsul Bahri Mohd Tamrin, the Director of CIRNET, along with officers Zaidi Tajuddin zaidi tajuddin and Amir Heiqal Mohd Rusli.

 

 

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss potential types of collaboration that could be conducted between UPM and AMCHAM, such as:

Research Partnerships, joint research projects on topics of mutual interest, leveraging the expertise and resources of both institutions.

 

 

Internship Programs, creating internship opportunities for UPM students within AMCHAM member companies to gain practical industry experience and also in Corporate Training, providing tailored corporate training programs developed by UPM for AMCHAM member companies.

Both parties are hoping that these collaborations will lead to significant advancements and mutual benefits for UPM and AMCHAM.
