INDUSTRIAL TRAINING IN THE COUNTRY

Industrial Training is a program that places students to conduct practical, practical, clinical training in an organization outside UPM selected and supervised within a specified period of time before the student is awarded a degree. The external organizations in question may consist of private companies, government bodies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), schools and other places judged to be fair. Industrial training gives students the opportunity to learn in the world of work to receive practical experience in order to improve its marketability.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING PROGRAM IN THE COUNTRY WAS ESTABLISHED TO ACHIEVE THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES:

1. Provide opportunities for students to apply academic knowledge and skills in the real world of work;
2. Provide opportunities for students to learn from practitioners in their respective fields;
3. Enhance generic and professional skills such as interpersonal skills, teamwork, problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial skills;
4. Appreciate the ethical values ​​of their respective professions,
5. Enhancing employment opportunities;
6. Provide learning experiences in the industrial world; and
7. Closer ties between the university and industry.
