UPM's CEO@Faculty Program 4.0 will share expertise with industry and the community

26 January 2023, Hulu Langat -A site-visit session for the CSR program was conducted at Nurfarm Agro Farm in Hulu Langat, Selangor, as part of CEO@Faculty UPM's 4.0 program. Officers from CiRNET and UCTC, UPM were present for this visit as well. The goal of this visit is to speak with Mr. Abdul Adziz bin Hasan of NurFarm Agro Sdn Bhd about the goals for the Compost as Carbon Bank Project.

The goal of the program that will be put into place is to teach ruminant breeders how to make compost from the waste of their livestock. For ruminant breeders, this outcome can also be used as a source of income. The target audience for this program, which is anticipated to take place on March 16, 2023, is farmers registered with the Department's list of Veterinary Services (JPV) and  FELCRA.

The tentative program will consist of two parts: I a discussion with the participants and the Team Leader Interim National Ruminant Board; and (ii) a hands-on training session on how to make compost from goat feces led by Mr. Abdul Adziz bin Hasan and the CEO@Faculty Program 4.0 fellows from UPM.
