INDUSTRY CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE (ICOE)

Each iCOE will be led by a major company that provides workforce projections (executive & non -executive level) as well as defines skills and criteria to support their eco-work system energy requirements at UPM.

iCOE may involve the contribution of equipment and financial support from the company to certain partners (faculties, institutes) in UPM.

One of the main purposes of owning iCOE is to develop human capital according to current needs and circumstances as well as increase their efforts in the field of research, development, and commercialization.

 

The objective of this initiative is to:

• Collaborate with identified industries in joint ventures for research, product development, and human empowerment.
• Implement activities and programs in a sustainable manner.
